Sound and Music

I recorded Scott's monologues after putting the clips together as this gave me a better idea of the time length and if I needed to edit what he said.

I found that it would overrun by a great deal and so had to cut a lot of what he was going to say. I recorded him on my video camera and then when uploading it deleted the picture so I was just left with the non-diagetic voiceover.

When I put the song 'All Good Things Come to an End' on to the film, I found that the lyrics together with the monologue detracted the attention from his words. Therefore, I switched it to the instrumental version which worked much better.

Editing

Over the past few weeks, I have uploaded my work onto Final Cut Express and have been using my storyboard to edit it accordingly.

Although the storyboard has proven vital in putting the film together, I have changed a few scenes which I either thought didn't work at all, or worked better in a different part of the opening.

I have now finished my first draft, and will save the same work under a different name so that I can edit it as I want.
